"Booked a king room executive for £199.00 over 6 months in advance. On check in at 2 pm they told me I had been downgraded to the same room, but one floor lower and the rate had been reduced £20.00. No problem. On arriving at room it had only a double bed. Not happy. Told hotel was sold out. Only solution was to refund my stay and I could go elsewhere. On a night the city is sold out. Deal agent claimed she did not know the hotels in area all sold out. Laughable. Complained to duty...

I was travelling with 5 friends to Manchester to meet up with other friends and this location was perfect for distance from the city centre. About £12/13 in an uber. The communication could have been better for us but in the end it was fine. The most important part was it was clean and comfortable.
