The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much care – definitely one of the highlights of my stay. "You can kinda tell it used to a hostel and all they basically did was shut the bar and swap the bunkbeds out for cheap doubles to try and remarket themselves as a hotel. Cleaners were brilliant and friendly but it all needs a facelift."

"So, everything was perfect. I think the game changer would be a 'mini-kitchen zone, ie a mini fridge and microwave. Somewhere to keep your fresh milk and maybe a late-night microwave meal. Not a criticism, just a suggestion. We would definitely return. Peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, and the Peacocks were no trouble."

"We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...
