"Sadly this is one of the worst Hotels I’ve ever stayed in, I find it funny to think that it causes itself a boutique hotel. Lovely gardens and that’s where it stops. What I loved was the fact that my room was right next door to the main road, so the idea of sleeping was an impossibility with traffic passing right next door to the window all night Long. "

"Returning to this historic hotel for a third visit was just as enjoyable as ever. Although my room was smaller this time, it was still beautifully maintained and very comfortable. I was especially grateful to be allowed an early check-in at no extra cost, which made my trip even more relaxing. The food remains outstanding, and the staff continue to provide a genuinely warm, friendly, and helpful service throughout. I was in Whitehaven for an event over the early May bank holiday weekend, but truthfully, the chance to stay here again was a big part of the reason for my visit. A consistently excellent experience - I wouldn’t hesitate to return again."
