"There is a bar on the property that was loud on the last night of my stay. There is only a small parking lot in the back . That allows for about eleven vehicles And it is gravel so hard to wheel your luggage. Also there is no elevator and narrow stairs, made it hard to get my luggage up to the room."

"Wonderful location in Oban for a visit. Central to the local shopping, restaruants, the distillery, train and ferries. The service and hotel itself were also very nice. I would certainly choose it again if visiting Oban. The only minus was the lack of parking, but it was very easy to find affordable parking nearby."

"Hotellet ligger normalt utanför vår prisklass, men vi hade samlat ihop till en "gratisnatt" och ville dessutom göra resan lite speciell så vi unnade oss en natt här. Vi blev väldigt väl och personligen mottagna när vi anlände och rummet (eller snarare rummen) var som tagna ur en Hollywoodfilm. Middagen var bland den bästa vi ätit och servicen under middagen fantastisk. Salongerna var många och rymliga så det var aldrig något trängsel. "On arrival allocated 506 room one of the turret rooms with steps I tripped up on step the light was dim and could no see the steps went to reception and and this was rectified room 507 which was better standard and very happy staff were great enjoyed I stay at royal hotel only twice a year and they look after me very well and I will cotinue to keep going and recommend to my friends"
