"I was a bit disappointed especially given the marketing (that team gets 5 stars!). I thought the rooms were outdated and a little worn, the breakfast was cold and limited, the pool and gym are part of a private member facility (so busy in the evening), the food in the pub/bar was terrible (!!) and when we asked if there were two singles available we were told we could easily use the sofa bed, but not linen provided. "I’ve stayed here a few times when I come to Manchester - all staff are always nice and have a chat with you, hotel feels safe, it’s not noisy, good location, very clean, bar area is nice. I think it’s a really good price for where it is. Only negative this time was the room I had was really small - the gap between the bottom of the bed and the wall (which the tv was on) was so narrow and almost nonexistent making it difficult to get to the other side of the room where the desk was. That being said, I would definitely stay here again. "
