"A warm welcome from Tony who went the extra mile by phoning me to advise rooms were ready. (Much appreciated, Tony!) Rooms were spotlessly clean and kitchenette well equipped. Lidl and Tesco within a few minutes walking distance. Philharmonic Hall a 5 minute taxi journey away. Various bus stops within 3 minute walk of Pembroke Studios. "Property was very clean and all communication handled over WhatsApp. We were moved to a different building the day our booking was meant to start due to maintenance issues. This was all handled via WhatsApp. Reception in different building, 10min walk away. There were lots of stairs and convoluted hallways - this was difficult for my elderly mother. Sofa bed is actually just a hard sofa that folds at a 90 degree angle. I’d only put a child or person weighing less than 40kgs in it. Other beds...

"Onsite parking is restricted by the number of spaces. They were all full when we arrived so some guests must have had more than 1 car. It would be helpful to allocate at least 1 space per apartment. Cars had parked right up to the access making it difficult to get to the front door. We parked up the road in a good, safe car park but it cost £11.50 for 24 hrs. "Check-in was very simple, the property very clean and the host very helpful over the phone. We arrived late in the evening and it was so wonderful to arrive to the suite with the pullout bed made up already and a beautiful bottle of Prosecco and two glasses set out. "Everything needed for a stay in self catering accommodation is there. Owners always available, either in person, or by phone. A fair walk - 10 to 15 minutes - from the sea front or town, bus stop for half hourly service to town centre just 50 yards away."
