"Disappointing. On arrival to the room, there was a distinct musty smell. Not pleasant and still present after opening the windows. No WiFi in the room. Breakfast was almost non existent. For a pub/hotel that promotes its food service and quality, a couple of boxes of cereal and a few miniature pastries was not what was expected or advised. A cooked choice would be expected (and was advertised)"

"Terrible stay. Dirty rooms, Breakfast is non-existent and all continental only. A lot of maintenance workers stay here, so you can imagine the standard. Depressing side of the road lodge. It is not a hotel really, more like a youth hostel!"

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"As soon as I walked in greeted with a smile and directions on where to check in. The staff at reception and cafe were polite friendly and very welcoming. The room was a good size with USB ports, bathroom also was a good size, no A/C in the room but was provided a fan. The bed in my opinion (and just my preference) was a bit hard, but being honest you will never please everyone as everyone preference are different. "Beautiful pub with rooms and staff were outstanding. Our rooms were really well appointed and clean. The food was good but we were a little underwhelmed with our meals. Salmon main dish was dripping in very salty miso and soy sauce. Restaurant was v busy and we were advised that there could be a wait for food. Breakfasts were fantastic though we had to wait a ridiculously long time for our food on the second morning. Only one person serving and one chef creates quite a problem! All in all we...
