"The four of us, including our two sons who are in their early twenties, stayed for five nights in two rooms. The hotel managed to provide a twin room for the boys which was appreciated.
The rooms were comfortable and the service was excellent.
We also enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar.
The location was good for us, although it is at the top of a hill so staying there keeps you in shape."
"Excellent reasonably priced place to stay and walk around Porto. Close to major attractions and many dinning options in the area. Felt very safe and comfortable. The room was quiet, clean and spotless.
The front desk staff were very friendly and Henrique gave us many tips to see in the area and where to eat which were helpful.

"It is a lovely hotel in Porto with great artistic taste. We’ve stayed in a family suite where we had two rooms, one in the 0 floor with a couch and a refrigerator, and another in the 1st floor with a bed and a bathroom. From the 1st floor, you can access the garden through the terrace. Breakfast is included in your stay and it was fabulous. It is in a 10 minute walking distance from the city centre. "Stunning…. Once you get to the inside, you can drive in to drop your luggage but you’ll know what I mean if you do…. Hope you have backup camera on the vehicle…. Beautiful reception lounge and dining area, fantastic rooftop patio. No parking on site, but a 7 minute walk to parking by the river, and walkable to the historical center to the east…… nice rooms and renovated top to bottom."
"The room was very clean. My flight got in Porto at 7 am and they were able store my luggage and give me a map of the city to go explore before my check-in time. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location was great, I had the single room with Balcony that had a nice view of the river. I walked to and from the centre a couple times a day, even all the way to Gaia which was only a 30 min walk.
I saw other reviews so I can prepared with earplugs, so noise was not an issue for me.

"Sehr schönes, modern eingerichtetes Hotel, direkt am Douro gelegen. Wir hatten ein normales Doppelzimmer gebucht und sogar eins mit Flussblick bekommen, das war sehr erfreulich, der Ausblick war morgens wie abends super!

"The hotel staff, friendly, helpful. They helped us plan a route to visit all the sites we wanted to see in Porto. They store our bags and then checkout time they put them in our room. When we returned, we just checked in our bags were already there. They have a wonderful turn down service. And the rooftop restaurant and bar has delicious food and cocktails. The view is unparalleled to see old town. You can see the golden hour, which was dazzling. Superb"

"Everything was wonderful from checking in, port upon arrival, the room was very clean but the carpet is white and had lots of stains. Needs updated. Breakfast was fabulous. All staff in there were so nice and accommodating. We did have drinks a couple of times at the rooftop bar and did eat there once. Gorgeous view from there. The staff were excellent but slow at times. It was busy so maybe need more staff up there. It is very centrally located to everything. Would definetly stay again....
