"We arrived at 5:30 pm and our room was still not ready. We were told that they were under new management as of the day we checked in. They were also not able to provide us with a key upon check-in so when we returned from dinner we had to walk all around the building to the front entrance to get into our room (without a key the other entrances were not accessible). We feel that we should not be charged the additional "facilities fee" for the inconveniences."
"The hotel was very clean and the staff are all great and very friendly.. We took our dog and they had dog treats waiting for him when we arrived. Great location as well. I will definitely be staying here again."
"Place is nice, the staff helpful, has a limited continental breakfast and it is not so close to Newport as I thougth. But it is a nice small hotel good for taking some days off in a relaxed environment."
"The property is close to the most upscale in that area. Ther is a need for some renovations. Very secured and parking is great. Parking is one of the reasons we choose to stay there, the staff are great and the views from the room are great.
There is a need to offer better breakfast options and their new eco friendly air conditioning system is not customer friendly and is confusing how. It works. They need to rethink their HVAC System."
"Oh man where to start! The check in took forever. There was no ice on any of the floors. The breakfast was over before it started. You can’t even take utensils from the cafeteria if needed, you have to wait for someone to give it to you to ensure you do not take more than needed. The heater in our room was noisy and the beds in the double bed room were super small. It felt like a twin bed, definitely for one person. Oh and there is an over grown tree covering the hotel sign. Will not be staying there again."
"Very nice people working there!
The location is beautiful and an easy walk to Main Street. The pool and hot tub is a nice plus. They should advertise the hot tub more as I didn’t know there was one. One negative was that I could hear the people above me throughout the night. It kept me awake. So I think the second floor is a necessity."
