"Super relaxed and friendly resort. Felt very much like an 80s resort experience with current prices. Frangipani Bures were very comfortable for our family of 4. Everything is pretty tired but clean. Staff were very friendly, relaxed and helpful. Food was fine but over a week became a bit boring with the sameness of the menus. Definitely recommend eating out at other restaurants to mix things up a bit. Restaurant service was slow but friendly. We had a great week there"

"It was our first stay in Fiji and Maui Palms was the most wonderful experience. The apartment, amenities and grounds were amazing. Being right on the beach was beautiful and we were able to do a lot of activities through the resort. Although the standout were all of the lovely friendly and helpful staff! "Really lovely budget friendly resort, perfect for families. Accommodation was clean, best hot shower I've had in weeks! Great water pressure too! Small fridge in room with drink making facilities. Bedding and towels at a good standard...really nothing to fault about the place at all. The swimming pools were beautiful, and the surrounding grounds were lovely & well looked after. Food was very well priced and really delicious, varied menu also. Service was good and the staff were truely lovely with a very kind, welcoming attitude. They were the friendliest resort staff I've ever met. Overall experience with my family was 10/10..if I'm fortunate to return, I definitely would."

"What a beautiful place! It was very convenient to stay here with our baby and the staff were so overwhelmingly joyous and helpful with him. Book a room away from the pool area as the loud music was a challenge for day naps. "Fiji time" will mean you miss out on things so if you're Type A, don't go with the flow completely and book ahead for activities like the glass bottom boat and restaurants. You need to book days ahead. Communication systems could be improved like a notification when you can snorkel, tides changed quickly. The snorkelling just a metre off the sand is unreal!!"

"We stayed in a plunge pool room and the room and view are amazing, if you can, I'd recommend highly. The amenities are standard, nothing flashy which suited our needs. All the staff were top tier, couldn't say enough nice things about them. The problem does arise when it comes to food and beverage. The included breakfast is subpar (and I'm being polite). Was stuck having toast with jam all week. I attempted to order from the menu one morning and had the most disgusting looking french toast I've ever seen. Raw, not uncooked. Raw. To make it worse, they dumped the soupy egg mix on top of the bread and attempted to serve it too me. When I refused in an attempt to eat it and asked for it to be taken back, I witnessed the manager and waiter arguing over it. I don't know what was said, it made me uncomfortable."
