"Hotel is only 2 mins walk to the beach but the beach you can't swim. It's very misleading on the ads... The room is facing to garden view, but the trees are too tall and not maintained. It covered the view and we could not see anything out the window or the beach view. It was disappointing."

"We stayed in Hampton inn Maui north shore. We opted for ocean facing with refrigerator and microwave. The stay was very nice and the staff were friendly. It hosts a private beach right behind the property. Very convenient to travel west and east of Maui"

"This is an excellent location from which to explore Maui. We would take the quick walk to the beach in the morning, explore the island in the afternoon and walk or drive to Kihei or Wailea for dinner. Pros: location, size of unit, kitchenette, free and ample parking, laundry, housekeeping, availability of host, clean pool, family atmosphere. As things get updated, it will be even better. We will be staying here again."

"Overall, the property and amenities are very nice. However, you automatically have to pay $40 per night for parking with no valet option. The parking is also very limited & not well lit at night which is concerning as a solo traveler. There also isn’t any concierge available to help with luggage."

Cleaning staff was kind and thorough as were the staff at the desk at check in. The $55 resort charge, additional taxes and fees added up quickly. The charges for the resort were confusing and even when we attempted to utilize there were additional fees for almost everything offered so it felt confusing and misleading. No microwaves in the rooms...

"The location and view were fantastic. However, the room was much smaller and very different than what was pictured in the ad. The king size bed was excellent, but to have a window that looked out on the walkway where quests walked by was not what we expected and gave us limited privacy so we kept the curtain closed during our visit."
