"Everything was amazing. Oliver was beyond helpful and kind!"

"We loved the staff at this hotel. Everybody was smiling friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The room was quiet with very comfortable bed and pillows. The food was good. All in all very welcoming and a lovely stay for us"

"Pristine"

"There was only one member of staff on reception at check in time which means multiple guests have to wait to check in. We went for lunch and had to ask firstly to order drinks and then again to order food. Unfortunately the burgers were way over cooked and the waiter had no incling that this might not be acceptable. It is unfathomable to me based on the price that a full breakfast wouldn’t be included in room rate."

"Room clean and comfortable , friendly staff."

"Lovely venue"

"Lovely traditional pub, excellent food and accomodation"

"Beatiful building and setting. Excellent staff. Food 7/10. Its classical which is fine but maybe uninteresting."

"Such great value. Free parking, large room, bedding clean and comfy, lovely and helpful staff. In fact Haroon was just wonderful, such a pleasant man and warm welcome. The room wasn't anything special but we only paid £45 so it was a bargain and I'd thoroughly recommend it."

"Lady in red who checked me in ( twice now ) is amazing member off staff! Informed me off party that night. Room was requested and given which is large and roomy . Look forward to going back"

"Parking good , lots of shopping and food close Garden and kitchen are great"

"Great place to stay for the St Joe’s Rugby Festival."

"Used the spa - staff in spa were lovely. Though two masseuses. both my partner and I booked the same treatment. We had completely different experiences. Both half hour one finished after 20 mins and one was full half hour. Lunch with the spa - the spa man who was lovely had to serve it. The restaurant staff refused to do anything. Didn’t clear plates nothing. 4 tables in there and 5 staff stood behind the bar talking ignoring my presence for a few minutes, I left and returned and when I asked...

"The roast partridge and Rhone red were excellent, as was our room."
