"Breakfast was lacking anything hot unless you put it in the toaster. No eggs or meat. Other than that was very happy with the property safety and the overall interior looked new. Rooms were dated and need more lighting. Definitely would stay again"

"The walls are paper thin, we heard every door slam shut, people in the hallways, very hard time sleeping. Housekeeping came at 9:30 am, I answered the door and the lady saw that i was half asleep and kind of walked away. Security knocked on our door to let us know if we didn’t want to be bothered, have the sign up of do not disturb. I was confused because we literally checked in the night before and didn’t expect housekeeping to come already. I also did not say one word to the housekeeping lady...

"I have had the experience of staying in numerous hotels previously, but unfortunately, the Stamford Suite fell short of expectations, particularly given its location in a city with a high cost of living. My disappointment was palpable. In contrast to the superior accommodations I encountered in some Third World countries, the Stamford Suite left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the front desk personnel failed to greet me, and when I expressed gratitude for the key, I wasn't acknowledged....

"Loved the beautiful botanical interior. The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day. Then the bar and food were good too. The gym was perfect for morning WO. Great day spent ."

"You get what you pay for - if you're just looking for a clean place to stay, they've got it covered for a good value (although they are currently undergoing a lot of renovations, so the common areas are a bit messier than the rooms). Not particularly convenient to anything, but parking is pretty cheap compared to other areas of Stamford. The team was very cheerful and helpful throughout check-in and our stay."

"This is a section 8 motel with few rooms to book. Our room looked like it was out of the 70’s and smelled like an old aquarium! They have fashioned window air conditioners in the plate glass window for the room as the interior unit doesn’t work! The room was dark and dreary! We found out that this used to be a “hot sheets” motel! You need to ask permission from the front desk to use the pool as there is no lifeguard and a strict schedule. We will not be staying there again!"

"This is my third or fourth night staying here in a couple of months. Generally it’s fine for the money. Bare bones. Nice beds. Comfortable. But this last time, the TV remote only worked if I was 3 inches away from the TV and the hot water took about 10 minutes to warm up in the evening. It warmed up right away in the morning."

"My deck was literally touching the hull of a majestic sailing ship. An evening and morning stroll by the water was hypnotic. Close proximity to fun Greenwich Ave restaurants was a great way to manage 10k steps while anticipating my mahi tacos and Rose. Loved it all. And the in-room dining snacks? Probably the best assortment of fun, gluten free hedonism I never expected."

"Property was clean but a little dated. Extremely small older model tv with no movie channels. We were there on a Sunday and the bar was barely open. The location was good for the district venue for the show we were seeing. Pool looked clean."

"The hotel is in a very convenient location and was a decent value. The staff was generally pleasant and responsive. Hotels are surprisingly expensive in the Norwalk / Stamford area so shopping for a deal is critical. At this price point through Expedia breakfast was NOT included, so a hotel that includes breakfast may be a better value. There were wall repairs being done on the 3rd floor so the hall appearance was a little rough. Our room was clean enough but not spotless, and the same could be...
