"We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children. We have previously stayed at the hotel a few years ago and had no problems. Yet this time when we went in the sofa bed was not set up. We spoke to the lady in reception who came back to the room with covers and we were told it was normal that guests set up the sofa bed ourselves. We struggled to get it flat and when we raised this , it was implied that it was our problem and there was no other rooms. The sofa bed had no mattress and was incredibly uncomfortable. The sofa bed is not very large and has large arms on the side. It was not really big enough for our two children to sleep on. I can’t recommend anyway staying if they have to use the sofa bed. The hotel itself is basic and clean. The breakfast is cereal and toast and was what was expected. Apart from the bed the hotel had everything that was needed."

"Good hotel, clean & great staff. Our room flooded & Kieran the Night Manager had our rooms moved, even making up the beds themselves! Breakfast is basic, no options beyond a standard cooked offering of scrambled egg, sausage, bacon, hash browns mushrooms and beans. Basic continental, though the juice was better than expected."

"I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel appears to be used by the council to house individuals with drug and alcohol issues, which created an uncomfortable and at times unsafe environment. There were visible burn marks on tables consistent with drug use, and noise levels were high at all hours of the day and night. Local businesses even confirmed this is an ongoing issue. Unfortunately, this made it impossible to relax or get proper rest, and I would not choose to stay here again."

"This is honestly the best bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, Sam welcomed us with a big smile and made us feel right at home. The room was absolutely stunning—really clean, comfy double bed, and the view was amazing. The ensuite bathroom was great too, and the underfloor heating was such a nice touch! Breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely be coming back again. Thanks so much, Sam, for your lovely hospitality! 😊"
