The evening before we were due to depart we received a text message from the owner saying that a problem had occurred and they couldn't honour our booking. We had to call them to find out what was going on, which was difficult as we were travelling and only noticed the text by chance. They didn't seem to be bothered that our holiday was in ruins and casually suggested that he could try and find an alternative place but it wouldn't be until the morning, after we were meant to be on our way there! We managed to eventually find somewhere else ourselves but didn't hear anything more from The Orangery. We've never known poor service like this, zero customer care!
