"The building was old but well taken care of and huge. It was a nice room, and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. I cooked in the room. The refrigerator was a good with a spacious separate spacious freezer. The staff was wonderful. I wanted to check-in early and they let me bring my stuff to my room at 9:00am so I could visit Carlsbad Caverns without a full car. I also asked what the most popular things were to do in and around Carlsbad, and they looked for handouts to give to me including a map of the area. They were super sweet. In fact, it was probably the nicest staff I have ever come across at a hotel!"
