"Front desk clerk very helpful and personable. Property clean, except bordering grass areas, well-used by pets. Room was bright and attractive. A few unfortunate streaks down the walls, heavy dust and candy wrapper under the bed and food and residue remaining in refrigerator seemed to indicate that the room had not been cleaned before our occupancy, other than to change the beds and replace towels. Appreciated efforts made to update bathroom sink and shower, though, amusingly, there was no cold water operating in the sink, and strong water pressure caused the flow to splash off the small basin. The beds were very firm and pillows flat and inflexible. The room-darkening curtain was a good idea, but did not successfully shut out the parking lot light. Lots of Road noise. So we appreciated an attractive, inexpensive place to stop for the low price and no pet fees, however, it was difficult to sleep in the ambient light and very hard bed.
Despite all of this, with a cleaned room and a pillow from home, I will stay here again. The evening front desk clerk would have accommodated my concerns for cleaning, I'm sure, but I did't report these items until check out."
