"The outside pictures make it look full of character but it didn’t live up to that. The help was no help at all just pointing their fingers saying the room was that way. Met other people in the halls looking for their rooms too. The room was fine once it was found."

"Great staff easy to check in however the property itself is dated, smells of drugs and the wrong crowd of people, communal areas were disgusting, the room had mold in the bathroom and had a bad feel overall"

"Truthfully, it feels the owners do not C A R E. Either they are selling it, or actually believe this hotel is up to standard. Not worth the price you pay for a night. Pros: - front desk staff are really nice and helpful - we had hot water unlike some other guests - perfect location - gorgeous exterior Cons: - tired, old and run down rooms - rooms smell moldy, carpets are stained, bathrooms are ancient - beds are OK, enough to get you by - no breakfast btw lol they throw some cereal...

"Friendly staff, clean rooms . Breakfast was well supplied. There is outside noise, but that's expected from being in city centre. The rooms themselves were reasonably well soundproofed and there wasn't too much noise coming from the corridor."

"Our room was very dated and run down, in desperate need of refurbishment. Shower leaked everywhere, plaster peeling and damp and mould all over. The £120 room only per night was far more than it’s worth. The bar is nice and the food is reasonably for a pub, it’s not a restaurant. Location is good and has parking which is rare for Howarth."

"It was a perfect stay. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel even prepared a fan for the room. The breakfast was amazing and the kitchen staff made sure our needs are attended and came out to explain about the breakfast available for each and one of us. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Yorkshire."

"It was my second time here in the last few weeks, the first visit was a large room king bed and I had no issues. Good clean room, good Internet connection. On this occasion I chose a suite, very disappointed with the standard considering the cost between the 2 rooms. The Internet was poor, tv buffering all the time on iplayer etc, had to use own network for phone coverage. The rooms are situated at the side of the industrial estate, i opened the windows for some fresh air but had to close them...
