"Nice hotel within walking distance of the train station and town centre.
Large room..which would benefit from a set of drawers though! Shower pressure wasn't great but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Breakfast was nice but no pastries etc...if you didn't want a cooked one there wasn't much else.
Good value...quiet location....we were glad not to be in the city centre on a Saturday night!
Pool was lovely after a day of shopping."

"I've stayed at the property several times whilst attending a work training event. On a number of occasions I have been allocated a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the rest of my colleagues. When I queried this at check in, I was advised there were no other rooms available.
What I also find disappointing is that one of my colleagues consistently appears to receive room upgrades, yet whenever I have politely asked, I am told that nothing is available.

"Victoria Lodge is a fantastic place to stay...the location in the middle of Stockton Heath couldn't be more convenient for numerous pubs, restaurants, a variety of shops, Alexander Park and Walton Gardens. There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way). "Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Great value for money. The only negative was the car parking situation. Very limited spaces so alternative parking should be considered if travelling by car."
