"We booked 2 rooms, due to a late finish at work. Would have been better to return home at 2 am in the morning. Noisy guests on and off until 3am, which you can get at any hotels, but the rooms do not insulate from the noise. I asked if there was a night porter to help manage noisy guests the next morning to be told yes. I asked could they not walk around the buildings to manage nuisance guests. I was told in the night porters defence he may not have heard them, which I highlighted was clearly...

"Not bad. Property is used by locals as a wedding venue so there were many visitors joining to discuss this. Lunch area gets packed. Menu of food was good on Wednesday. On the first day of the week, its usually basic (fish and chips, pie etc). Rooms were spacious. Bit dated but add to the Tudor charm."

"It as a beautiful 1400 Grade 1-listed building, which was great, but I had problems with the shower. In my initial room the water was lukewarm at best. I was moved to another where the water was hot but the shower was weak. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was good. They had soya milk for my coffee."

"I arrived at the property on 30/3/24 at around 3am as I decided not to return to London with the persons I arrived with. I was stranded. "Very close to A127 which is handy but it can also be noisy though not the Hotel's fault.Very close to large Retail Park (Pipps Hill) which is useful for food. Guests need to be reminded of the need not to slam doors at any time particularly at night, slightly annoying that parents allow their children to run around in the dining area. O therwise accomodation suitable for my needs. "
