"Cute little hotel with kind staff. It was being prepared for renovations while we were here which created some commotion with the lifts and traffic in the lobby. "Great place ruined by penny-pinching. Look, I get some of the cost-savings…. although the very annoying machine-checkin, while 2 staff members stand right next to it is just pointless, people want to check-in/out to a human, not a screen…. On this occasion in particular, they found out it was my birthday and went above and beyond. Left a sweet treat in my room upon arrival and gave us a free drink at the bar.
