"Good hotel for a fair price"

"The inside was clean but the halls had a little odor which was almost musty and need to air out. The outside needs a paint job and some tree trimming and a few other things."

"Perfect location right off the Blueridge Parkway. Under new ownership , being renovated, Hardwood floors, large bathroom, very comfortable bed and pillows."

"Room was clean and staff is friendly. The good stops there unfortunately. The wifi and cable constantly went out the whole time I was there. I had Do Not Disturb on my door but had people knocking on my door early every morning waking me up. The fridge in my room wasnt working because they didnt have a electrical plug in nearby. And had a hard time getting water right temp in the shower because the handle was stripped, and the tub was in horrible shape itself. Air in the hallways was broke so...

"The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

"Wonderful area, lots to do & see. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. So very quiet up there, large porch, lots of rocking chairs & a swing. They had a spacious interior(living room & separate dining room), library with puzzles & games. Good Coffee & tea Excellent food! Staff was personable but were careful to give you space. Can't wait to go back!"

" dog friendly lodge. Main areas are very nice and well kept. Room that I stayed did need some small repairs. Generally clean. New owners will take a little time to put everything in order. Worth the stay. 30 minute drive to wineries and town of Floyd. Not really a lodge type of person but I did enjoy the peacefulness of the lodge and areas."
