"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"We travelled with our adult son to hike in the nearby Eryri National Park. The owner greeted us upon arrival and very thoughtfully upgraded our rooms! "Louise was a lovely host, sending us a message before we arrived and welcoming us upon arrival. The property is in a lovely location, just a shame it was cloudy when we were there meaning we couldn’t see the mountains. The room had a private bathroom which was down the hall, but this wasn’t a problem as we had the whole of the upstairs to ourselves. Felt like a kid again running to the bathroom! Lovely breakfast. Would stay again. "
