"We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there."

"The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. No central office so check-in was at the bar. Overall a very nice...

"It's not a luxury hotel, the TV was small there's no free breakfast, but I stayed there a few times and it is always clean bathrooms are clean the rooms are clean the staff is friendly and the prices inexpensive and doesn't change a whole lot when school is in session and the other hotels double their prices. It's a no frills place but if you need a place to stay it's good"

"Meticulously clean, accommodating staff, breakfast was packaged omelettes French toast and pancakes. No orange juice which I thought was wierd. Why’d I give it a 3. The room was disturbingly noisy. 2:13 dog bark 0637 door slam, 0652 door slam 0713 dog bark 0722 door slam. Needless to say I didn’t sleep well. I was on the 1st floor so I don’t know if that was the issue."

"The hotel was very clean and was adequate for our trip. They had a small kitchen area but it didn’t have any dishes for the guests. The curb appeal is definitely lacking but good enough for our short trip."
