"The hotel is cleaned to a very high standard. On our arrival we were met by Vladimir who was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. Our room was immaculate with clean towels twice a day, Marlon needs a special mention as he always left a different artwork with towels on our daily return. "Staying at the Corinthia Palace was such a treat. From the fantastic service to the amazing food. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves & did not want to come home. The room was so spacious & comfortable, with a lovely sized balcony. Big, comfortable beds & a choice of pillows if needed. Even the slippers were comfortable. The pool was wonderful! The Grand Hotel Excelsior offers everything you would expect from a five-star resort: indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a well-equipped fitness center, multiple restaurants and bars, and excellent amenities. "the tv was broken the smell from the AC was awful - stale and unbearable, the sheets smelled really bad as well as the towels. The pool has rules but no one respects them, the sauna was not working even if the guy at the reception told us we can use it, the food at the rooftop is a disaster, one of the worst we had (greek platter), stains on the carpets everywhere, this is nowhere near 5 stars or luxury, more like 2 stars. The only good thing was the breakfast."

"Everything was amazing! My only complaint was the beautiful gardens were filled with bees and huge hornets that were all around the pools and often sinking in the pools to be accidentally stepped on, which is an issue when traveling with children."
