"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was great apart from a tea stain on the skirting board. Ridiculous charge of £20 pp to use the pool after 9am and no spa treatments available, so basically we could have stayed anywhere rather than having a “spa break “. "

"The first room I got the toilet wasn't clean, so they changed me. Still, it could be cleaner, but it was acceptable. The staff was amazing! Very welcoming and kind. Comfortable bed and very silent inside. Although it is in the middle of nowhere you can easily get Uber and so many lovely villages and nature around. It's worth it!"

"Car park is being re-done got woken up by diggers in the morning. Not necessarily hotel’s fault but noisy guests slamming doors until midnight & talking outside my room was quite annoying & meant I could not sleep until gone midnight. "

"Great building, location and staff. “Executive” room (402) was on 4th floor, lift only goes to 3rd floor. On arrival on 4th floor, no corridor lighting so had to use light on phone to see room number. Room was especially small; same applies to 409, others on floor significantly larger. On escape plan, bathroom was bigger than bedroom. There was a bad smell of drains in corridor and in room. Windows were wide open on arrival. After closing, smell in bathroom became apparent. "Property was clean however staff could have been more helpful. They wouldn’t let our group of 5 sit together at breakfast although there was an available table because they didn’t want to reset it for lunch. "

"I travelled to Homfirth with my friend as we were attending a gig at the Picturedome which is next door to the Inn. The Inn has recently been renovated to a high standard. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The inn is a beautiful place and the decor is beautiful. We had breakfast, full english which was very good. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. The staff went the extra mile for us. "

"The Grains bar hotel was selected over others primarily for its location which had several teenage memories. We were visiting family in Smallbridge, Rochdale ... 4miles away, so very convenient. Excellent greeting and first impressions. Ample seating areas, small bar area next to reception, large brekki, dining room but lacked atmosphere. Other rooms (not viewed incl Wedding venue) available. Good meals and menu. Rag pudding...well! Yes, the parking is a tad awkward, ie circa 20 spaces...
