"Outstanding in every aspect. We have stayed in top hotels all over the world and this was the best service we have ever received. The staff go above and beyond for their guests. The location is excellent, a quick and easy walk to town. Breakfast and evening drinks and canapes all included are a lovely touch. Extremely clean and comfortable. We will be back. "

"A very comfortable stay! The rooms provided were very clean and quiet. There is ample carparking along the street however, everyday is a lottery as Queenstown can be quite busy. The only nitpick comment I would have to make is that the room can be a little too dim. The size of the rooms are huge but the amount light can be a bit insufficient. During the day there is just enough natural light which is fine."

"The George is an outstanding hotel. The service was amazing. The bistro and bar were very good. The room was very comfortable and modern. The location is right next to the Avon River and park and is a perfect place to stay at in Christchurch if you want to walk to the main attractions. "

"Beautiful place perched on the mountainside overlooking Queenstown. It’s only a couple minute walk to central Queenstown. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Fabulous view on the balcony. "

"Very nice property and accommodation was as described, however as we were intending to stay for bed breakfast and an evening meal we were very disappointed to find the restaurant was closed with no reason given and had to go out and find somewhere"

"Wonderful stay in peaceful surroundings with a great view down into Rotorua. Close enough with a car to all the local attractions but far enough away from the busy town centre. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable room and even managed to find time for the hot tub! Would highly recommend! "
