"Lovely hotel, with lovely clean, well appointed rooms. We stayed on a Saturday when the football was on next door, but other than the lobby being busier you wouldn’t have known. Lad at reception was friendly and the Hilton chocolate chip cookie was a nice touch. Only thing to consider would be perhaps providing the option for a firmer pillow, but appreciate this is entirely personal preference. "

"The breakfast was great, the internet was fast, the staff were ok, and the gym was basic but adequate. The carpet in the room appeared to be old and ready to be changed, it made the room feel dirty. During my visit they were replacing fire doors so there was a bit of noise during the days but not unbearable. Very close to the trains for easy access, close to a supermarket and a retail shopping centre."

"Never stayed at an Ibis before and for the money didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. Hotel receptionist was very friendly when we checked in. I like the fact that the only way to reach the lift is by using key card so no easy access. Room was very clean and well thought out. Bathroom spotless. Only problem was the bathroom door which stuck a bit so noisy to shut if using during the night and trying not to wake your friend. "Hotel is a disappointment considering its reputation. The rooms were cold, old and badly lit, with poor quality mattresses where the springs could be felt, and quilts so thin our kids were sleeping in jumpers and bathrobes. "

"Excellent breakfast but some of facilities need some maintenance, particularly heating. Staff are very helpful. Parking can be a bit of a hassle. "

"Great Staff. Property is a little dated but clean,tidy and friendly. Large rooms and a great location in it's own grounds with lots of free parking. A rare thing in Nether Edge. 20 min walk from the centre of Sheffield and a good bus service as well. Lots of great cafes nearby. What is not to like."
