"Many of the rooms have been renovated, but the hotel appears to be going for a very minimalist approach. Our room had a bed, a slim desk with an office chair, and two small side tables, along with five hangers on a long metal bar and three small hooks for clothing. There was definitely not enough hangers or space for one person’s clothes, let alone for two people staying in the room. "The club room was of good size, clean and well equipped with tea, coffee etc Comfortable stay. Needed a good base to visit my daughter Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. They were very welcoming and I felt looked after Housekeeping were also excellent, as I didn't need a full room service but clean towels and essentials were replenished without any fuss. "The Gluten Free breakfast is great for me And you keep it separate"

"For the price and location for my specific need the hotel was good. The bed comfy, room clean and a nice touch with the in room welcome pack of amenities and biscuits. The only concern was a young child (the receptionists child) randomly walking in my hotel room (room 2) to use my toilet and walk out again). I laugh it off now, but was concerning at the time."

"It was strange during this current situation. Very quiet. The only issue I had was that the water was cold. It was very unpleasant getting a shower in cold water. I would like to stay again in more ‘normal’ circumstances."

"Beautifully clean and appointed accommodation. Host very helpful and friendly. Only criticism is the bed is just a normal double size.. for us we prefer a bigger bed. Lovely seating area by a pond which would have been nice to sit by if the weather had been kinder! Definitely recommend . "
