"Even though there are positives in that this hotel is located in a quiet area and has ample parking I do not know how it is rated a 4 star. The decor is from the 70’s and needs a serious update. Even though the website says there is a fan in the room I had to go down to reception and ask for one. The carpets need replacing and there is no ramp into the reception area so you have to carry any luggage up and down stairs. No fridge in the room either. "We were fortunate to have a huge room overlooking the grounds, huge bathroom, the decor was good it's just a shame that it's not been finished off very well, just small things like the bathroom door not fully shutting, toilet seat very loose, the step between the bedroom and bathroom not finished the grouting not completed ,but for what we paid we can't complain. The cleaning was ok until we pulled out the single bed to find crisp packets etc. Very thoughtful with cups , cutlery, bowls etc....
