"They use an older form of key card to unlock the door. It's a swipe card, it did not swipe which ment returning to reception to get it programmed again, very inconvenient when I had 3 bags with me. Everything else was good, including the breakfast. Just one thing I don't like is taking a deposit to cover any expenses, I am always worried that they or I will forget and I don't get my money back."

"The whole place needs a refurb. My bedroom could have done with a clean and the toilet actually needed flushing before I could use it. The stairs and corridors wer dusty in corners and one corridor had a peculiar smell. I know it was an old building but I’m sure even old buildings could have lifts installed and maybe ramps and here one or two steps are. Not good value for money and the breakfast certainly wasn’t. "I booked in early so I had to do some cleaning myself. The studio flat is nice and bright with small practical kitchen. The bathroom was shared between male and female but had not lock. Checked out before before the lock was fitted, too slow in response to that issue. Staff was helpful."

"We didn't have breakfast there. Bar offered a good choice of drinks. The extractor fan didn't work in the on suite but it was kept very clean. The stairs to the room were quite steep and the doors were very close together making it a little difficult to manoeuvre. The toilet was quite tall so shorter people may find their feet wouldn't touch the floor. The bed was very comfortable."
