"1 bed appt, perfect for my needs. Only quibble was sofa. Nice balcony over looking courtyard. Spa facility (pool, jacuzzi, steam room etc) was great, very clean and well run. Its a shame the restaurant wasn't running but as I had an appt with a kitchen it wasn't really a problem. Small shop on site open for 2 hrs each evening, and a temporary bar above the spa. Its a bit in the sticks but only 20 mins drive from Bideford. All the staff were friendly and helpful."

"Everything about the hotel was excellent Room Food Comfort Staff All Five Star"

"Was great and what we needed"

"Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. "Everything the hotel lacked wss completely made up by the excellent service offered by Margueite. Thank you for your efforts and understanding."

"Perfect place for rest"

"Warm and friendly welcome and it stayed like that all week As to the room it had a lovely powerful shower, a comfy bed and a kettle what more could I want"

"The hotel was excellent. It felt very upmarket but without an upmarket price. Room was small but absolutely fine for one person. Wonderful bathroom! Food was excellent. Will be going back next year."

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. If you're on vacation here,...
