"Needed a place to stay for one night to attend a concert at Tanglewood (about 45 minutes away from The Alander by scenic back roads). The rooms are freshly renovated and vey clean and the setting is beautiful. Didn’t have a chance to try the attached restaurant. Will definitely stay there again."

"My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at the 1805 House B&B. The four-poster king-sized bed was very comfortable, the large tub in the bathroom was a delight, and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. The hosts made check in and check out very easy. We were in the area for a jazz festival and to visit a friend. This was a lovely country stay for the weekend. "

"We had the most beautiful amazing stay! It was a bit hard to find our cabin when we got there because there was no maps or anything that we could access while driving with no reception in the area, but we eventually found it. Our air-conditioning didn’t work well in the unit and it was quite hot but other than that it was perfect and we will absolutely stay again, hopefully in the fall!"

"This is not really a “hotel,” as there is no onsite staff. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning because we had not received the codes to access the building and our room, but that was remedied after a phone call. Our room (a one-bedroom apartment) was very spacious and comfortable. The biggest problem with the accommodation was that we could hear noise (voices and footsteps overhead) from other rooms, and this continued well after midnight, making it impossible to get to sleep.
