"Staff were ace"

"Our room was close to a very loud function so we requested a move . No alternative to the superior that we had paid for other than a standard room was available so we moved to that to get a good night sleep . Room was clean and tidy . £4.50 was taken off our room service bill for the inconvenience as alternative to a bottle of wine (and upgrade fee refunded) Breakfast was unable to accommodate the number of guests at 9am so a large amount of people had to wait in reception . "Very helpful and friendly staff. The hotel offers a good breakfast too. There is no charge to park at the hotel which is an advantage. The bedrooms and corridors are dated but having said that we had a very comfortable stay."

"On arrival the reception is modern and well furnished and lovely decor, the reception is small and welcoming and the young lady on reception was excellent, we even managed to check in early @ 12 as our rooms were ready…. I cannot fault the checking in process and the receptionist, I didn’t get her name…. We were shown how to get to the rooms and as soon as we went through the door that led to the rooms it was"

"Very poor start, got there to see loads of Pay to Park signs. It's at the end of a lane in the middle of nowhere and carpark is in poor condition with large potholes. Overall, stay was ok but I wouldn't return."

The bed frame/fabric base was all stained, the floor was stained and the window latches all broken so the window was either wide open or shut. A couple of £1 hinges would fix it. Spiders in the shower in both rooms. The staff were great, parking easy, bar was nice. Just needs some simple tlc"

"Love the location. Staff that I met were v friendly. The food was excellent and well worth the stay. The room was comfortable and pleased to see coffee bags rather than the disgusting tubes of Nescafe which most hotels do. There were a couple pf things which werent so good but it wouldnt stop me staying again. In the evening the water took a while to warm up which was ok however in the morning it didnt at all. I had a wet shave waiting for it to heat up so shave was in cold water and shower was...
