"I was disappointed with our stay. We reserved a room with two queen beds but were given a king room instead, which was presented as an “upgrade” even though it didn’t match our reservation. The room had a noticeable musty/moldy smell, the toilet was not clean, and the floor felt damp from excess humidity. The refrigerator door had been left open and wasn’t cooling. "The rooms are just gorgeous. The beds are comfortable and the whole atmosphere is great there. We enjoyed the large hot tub several times throughout the day and night, while taking in the beautiful views and birdwatching. We really enjoyed the private, screened balcony as well. Every part of the property was enjoyable and the staff are top notch. The breakfast was phenomenal!! Tina is an awesome innkeeper! She made us feel so comfortable and right at home. This really has become our new favorite...

"Do not believe the photos! They have to be years out of date. The walls had large hole repairs but the worst was the front door. It was peeling and cracked with inch large gaps along the edges. I was supposed to stay there with my 11 yr old daughter and neither one of us felt safe. The building is also right up against the neighborhood liquor store. I can't even imagine what it would have been like to actually stay there. My daughter started googling hotels to give me other options."

"The room was dated and carpet in hallways stained. The bathroom was clean and other than the dark carpet (that gives a dirty look) and some mold on the glass shower door (the clear sealant needs replacing) the room was otherwise clean."
