"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. "Nicest staff ever! Pool is beautiful and big, our poolside bungalow was also very spacious, the grounds are nice and the beach is a couple minutes walk. They cleaned our room daily and the breakfast included delicious Burmese food with western cuisine. We enjoyed a small beach party as well, every Wednesday. "

"The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."

Wenn ihr schwimmen möchtet, dann berücksichtigt die Gezeiten bei eurer Tagesplanung - bei Ebbe wird schwimmen schwierig, dafür sind aber schöne Strandwanderungen möglich. Preis/Leistung super. "

"Beautiful hillside property. The spa, pool, sauna, bars were all brilliant. About a 2/3 steep walk up the road and then down to the beach but worth it. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and had everything you need."

"This hotel feels very loved, with many thoughtful decorative touches like plants, art and sculptures. Within walking distance of full moon party but far enough away to have a good night's sleep, it was an ideal base for us. The pool is a bonus. "
