"This was an excellent hotel for our needs as a stopover for crufts nec.The room was clean the food was good all the staff were excellent no problems would book again if going to Birmingham. "

"Chose this hotel as it was in range on the NEC whilst we stayed overnight for Crufts and was very reasonably priced. Room size was decent, beds were very uncomfortable - could feel every spring and hardly got any sleep. I would have changed rooms but I had seen there were similar reviews about this. Rooms could be updated as the wallpaper was coming away, there were holes in the carpet, sink taps were a struggle to turn on/off and the lock on the inside seemed a bit worn. The walls were thin and could hear music playing until late (think it turned off around 10pm but couldn't tell as we had the TV playing). Can't fault free parking and free breakfast. I only grabbed a couple bits as needed to leave early, but the spread looked decent. The staff were really lovely and accommodating and I liked that it was a 24/7 manned reception as you never know when you'd need something. Simple amenities such as a water fountain in reception would be a good addition. Don't think there was a phone in the room to contact reception, unless it was hidden away somewhere. Overall, basic but very decent for price paid and proximity to major events. Amazing staff but hotel rooms need a revamp. Perhaps bring a thick blanket so you can use the duvet as a mattress topper."

"First time stay at this hotel. Everything perfect, good location, attentive staff, lovely room. Breakfast was excellent, choice of freshly cooked dishes. Will return again. Tip car parking is safe and secure at the railway station for £6 via JustPark. "

"This is a good budget hotel. A former Premier Inn, the rooms are decent sized and comfortable. It is clean and comfortable with friendly staff. It is well placed for local amenities, including restaurants, shops, and a local park. "

"There was no spa pool, tried to make a booking before our stay for a massage, was sent a message staying our request was waitlisted? When arrived at the hotel we were told there was no availability for massages on any of the 3 days we were staying so in my opinion little point in calling yourself a spa hotel if you have 1 part time person available to do massages "
