"Loved having access to a kitchen and a washing machine, much needed after 3 wks camping. Beds were supper comfy cozy, and contrary to other reviews we did not find the street noise bothersome, and we had the windows open. Traffic noise calmed by midnight. Place was very well looked after by hardworking staff, we saw staff regularly in the 4 days we stayed. Shout out to them, because it's deplorable the mess other guests left in the kitchen. Very inconsiderate not leaving it clean for the next...

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "

"Fresh and clean sheets on bed and lovely white towels. Friendly reception staff. Free car park with cctv. Easy check in. Easy access ground floor bedroom. Sadly our shower didnt work ( room 7). Overall a budget stay for 1 night with o ly a 15 min ride/ drive to the Eurotunnel. "

"Room was freezing cold, no heating on, kettle didn't work. They did offer to change our room but other room was also unheated. As check in is 2pm.We checked in at 4.40pm 14th Feb, room was icy cold. Hot water was temperamental. Room should have bern warm & water hot, Hubby had cold shower i gave that a miss.should be heated by then"

"Ok für einen Zwischenstopp aber definitiv überbewertet. Zimmer ok aber Mobiliar sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Beim Duschen geringer Wasserdruck und nur zeitweise wirklich warmes Wasser. Abendessen und Frühstück passabel. Die Lage ist perfekt aber wir übernachten beim nächsten Mal woanders!"

"The family room was a good size and clean unfortunately the double bed had a dreadful squeak at every movement! However for one nights stay it was absolutely fine. I needed to wash and sterilise some baby bottles and despite it being 10pm the staff were very helpful and came back to give me access to the kitchen and microwave ( which again was very clean and tidy) we left too early for breakfast but I wouldn’t hesitate to book again for an overnight stop"

"Decent room but bathroom needs improvement We recently stayed at Rocksalt Rooms in Folkestone. The room itself was comfortable and nicely appointed – we had no issues there and enjoyed the location right by the harbour. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a real letdown for a longer stay. The shower left the floor and toilet completely soaked every time, and the sink was far too tiny, which made daily routines awkward. These issues made the bathroom impractical, especially given the wet-room style...

The location was excellent, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options.
