Initially the astetics of arriving at the pub/hotel looked promising and the ambiance of the bar area pleasent with polite reception staff.The room (4) was at first site ok, but a more detailed look revealed a more dirty aspect and not as expected. "Staff were helpful on arrival.room/suite was very big. Bigger than my first flat! Whilst it had charm it was clearly an old building and it needs a little tlc but that said, it was clean and excellent value. I would stay again."

"not a good sleep the first night due to a machine in the courtyard for freezing purposes. apparently the normal freezer had broken. however after we complained we were moved to another room which was a lot better in fact an upgrade on our previous room hopefully the university of cambridge will rectify this in the not to distant future. the staff were excellent"

"The Andel Lodge was a gem of a find! My sister and I stayed there on Tuesday 19th May and we were so impressed with everything! The decor was lovely, everywhere was spotlessly clean and our twin room was so cute! Unfortunately the music from the reception area was booming all day and night so I got little to no sleep. Very disappointing when on a business trip and needing to be well rested the next day.
