"We recently stayed at the Market Street Hotel and had a mixed experience. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which was very much appreciated. The facilities themselves are lovely, and the hotel has a beautiful overall atmosphere and location. Unfortunately, the housekeeping and maintenance standards did not match the quality the hotel presents. "Actually, we were not able to stay. I did climb the 30 steps to get to the apartment, and it was a very nice place. 40 years ago, it would have been suitable for my wife and I. It would be better suited to younger travelers since all bags have to be carried up the steps. However, I cannot fault the owners because I did not pay close enough attention to the description"

"While the apartment was very clean and amenities provided were all modern throughout. We unfortunately did not have a pleasant stay, the only thing was the poor sleep we had. The bed/mattresses was very worn, hard and uncomfortable to the point where you could feel the springs on a part of the mattress. The blinds were not fully sun proof so we had light coming through at 4am to the point we had to get some eye masks. On top of this, the noise and beeping of the elevator outside the front door...

"Everything was great! Proximity to restaurants, shopping and attractions was excellent - all within a few minutes walk or less. Easy to find and access - would definitely recommend!"
