"Had a fantastic time staying at Market Street Hotel. Located right outside Waverley Station with the Old Town just behind and New Town in front. We had complimentary upgrade on our room too. Room service was excellent and breakfast lovely with choice of cooked and continental style and a glass of champagne offered as part of it. A free minibar which was restocked daily. Staff were all efficient and friendly. A wonderful hotel stay and would definitely choose to stay here again. "

"Lovely stay. Great view. Apartment was clean and tidy. Fully kitted out kitchen. Very spacious. The only 2 things was the mattress could do with replacing on bed. It slopes inwards when slept in and could do with blackout curtains as it’s very light when curtains are drawn. Would still stay again. "

Great welcome basket with some breakfast items were waiting for us on arrival. 2 bathrooms with showers in each and great heat throughout the apartment. Super place to be based as so close to princes street and main sites. Staff very helpful before arrival and provided information when it was needed. We arrived around 8pm and it was easy to access with the provided code which was emailed...

"We had a lovely stay at the Linton Collection Apartments over Christmas. This was our third year spending Christmas here and once again we loved it. The location is ideal, just off the Royal Mile, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay — it really was a perfect Christmas. "We loved our stay at The Old Town Chambers in Edinburgh. Centrally located on the Royal Mile, it's directly across from the beautiful St. Giles Cathedral. Superb for sightseeing and walking! Housekeeping serviced the room every day. It was clean and bright (with three huge windows)! The furnishings, and kitchenette amenities made it very comfortable, and relaxing, and a nice place to “come home” to, after a long day of walking and exploring. "Actually, we were not able to stay. I did climb the 30 steps to get to the apartment, and it was a very nice place. 40 years ago, it would have been suitable for my wife and I. It would be better suited to younger travelers since all bags have to be carried up the steps. However, I cannot fault the owners because I did not pay close enough attention to the description"
