"Staff were ever so helpful, food at the pub (dinner) and breakfast had a good variety and generous portions. Would stay again and recommend. Only point I'd advice on upgrading is on accessibility access."

"The rooms on the property are tiny, they look bigger in the pictures! The rooms are dated & dirty. I'm not sure we were actually clean after getting showered. The floor was gritty under foot and there were other people's hair all over the bathroom floor. There were a lot of mixed messages as well. When booking its advised that you can check in from 3 but check in forms we received implied you can't check in before 5. Breakfast was another mix of messages with staff not being clear either....

"Beautiful location and a really quaint and quirky hotel built in the 16th century. A number of boutique shops locally and plenty options for eating and drinking. Really friendly staff happy to help. Private car park with plenty of spaces."
