"The hotel / bar staff were very helpful and friendly. Really good selection of food cooked to order. Plenty of onsite parking. Most importantly for us the hotel is extremely dog friendly. The walk into Durham city centre is approximately 10 minutes. We would stay here again and recommend. "

"Really enjoyed my stay here at the Cross Keys. Was meeting up with family for a wedding in Saltburn. It was in a lovely quiet setting, beautifully decorated interior, quirky with a simple country style decor. The staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Ben and Laura who always made sure you was comfortable and had everything you needed. Would definitely stay and recommend this place again."

"The room was beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The tray with tea and coffee and bottled water and cookies was very welcome. We booked dinner and the steak pie was exceptional and the service was good. Breakfast was also very good and it was lovely to sit in the pretty conservatory. We are happy to recommend this hotel and definitely would return ourselves "
