"We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. "Our room faces out the front and had a fantastic view over the loch. Very nice bathroom and well appointed room. It even has American style air conditioning which will cool / dehumidify the room. Just a small note of caution it is an old building so there is no elevator. It is a 18 minute walk to the ferry / train terminal. We organized a cab which was 5 pounds so we did not have to drag out suitcases. Breakfast was included with our booking and it was very good. We will stay here again with our next Oban visit."
