"We decided to stay at the Courtyard by the airport on our last night before leaving Iceland. This was the best decision. The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a shuttle service. Seeing how the drive from Reykjavik is at least 40 min (if not more) we are glad we stayed close by for a relaxing evening and less rush in the morning. The rooms are clean, spacious and service is excellent. There is not much within walking distance but it looks like the area is in the midst of additional development. They have a lovely bar area and 2 restaurants. Fantastic property, but on the more expensive side."

"This was a great spot to stay for a short layover. The staff was helpful and easy to communicate with before I arrived. It was easy to make arrangements to store my luggage before check in. They added breakfast to my stay as a courtesy. It may not have been the most luxurious hotel but it was clean and quiet. The showers were hot and refreshing after an exhausting day. And the convenience of staying steps away from the airport for an early morning flight is priceless."

"When we first arrived there was nobody at the front desk but a phone to direct us and I called and the manager was very helpful. Got us our room and code to get in. Our room was very small but we were there only for a night and didn’t need much. The common kitchen was great! Spent our evening here meeting others and eating. Everything was very clean! The next morning we had our very early shuttle to the airport! The young man who drove us was polite. All went well! Thank you for a positive experience!"
