The only thing that ruined it this time were some other guests who thought it was ok to make as much noise from about 12.30 to 2am shouting, slamming doors and banging about in their rooms. There was absolutely no consideration for any of the other guests. They knew in the morning it was them but not one of them apologised for their behaviour.

"The staff were lovely and we had a great welcome. The club room was small and smelt musty. We put on the heating as the room was freezing when we arrived, it then got too hot, opened window to find thick black mildew.
Pillows are hard.
Swimming pool tiny and chaotic
It's such a pity, as we normally really enjoy village hotels"
