"We had a wonderful stay at Casa du Soleil! We booked the triple room, it was incredibly spacious, providing more than enough comfort. The staff were so kind, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We also found the common areas, especially the kitchen, to be so useful during our trip. "At first,we were provided a room which did not match the one shown as the pictures on Expedia’s website. The one we supposed to book was 2 bedroom apartment, however, It is so small , there is no door of the bedrooms , no living area. It should only be called studio. We tried to contact the host , they were not very helpful at the beginning, saying the pictures are taken from different apartments, after a long communication, they move us to a bigger apartment which is better. The area was so so, esp the Indian neighborhood 7 mins away. if you need to go to Modern museum ( don't bother), you may need to pass that area...some streets are better. "Air conditioning was great. Room was fairly clean it does need some paint touch up in places. Had to pay extra for towels. We were a party of 4 and given a towel each to last the entire 4 night stay and when we asked for more they said there would be a charge."

"Great location as near to all the main sites to walk but still quiet at night...highly recommend the Gastrobar at the hotel as a great place to get dinner as well as coffee and snacks...our room was spacious and overlooked the courtyard and was very clean...we didn't have breakfast booked but it was very nice from what we heard from other guests...would definitely recommend this place as a really great place to stay in Madrid."
