The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. "We stayed in an economy twin room, for one night, which was very clean and in a quiet location towards the back of the hotel. We were not bothered by noise from the bus station.
The shower had a strong flow and quickly ran hot, which is always a plus.
The full breakfast was included in our room rate and was good including local sausages.
All staff were very welcoming and friendly.
For us the hotel had a bit more character and quirkiness than some of the bland chain hotels.
