"We tried to email and call the hotel about arrival time, but didn't get any reply or someone to pick up. Therefore upon arrival there was some confusion re the availability, but we ended up in a nice and spacious room. Breakfast has to be paid in cash, so we ended up eating somewhere else."
"Excellent location, stayed overnight before a ferry the next day.
The hotel is a little tired, but it us clean, great breakfast, close to the centre of the city and free parking.

"Excellent choice on both meal and breakfast menus. Rooms are really large. En suite is amazing. Unfortunate no tea and coffee facilities in room. Brilliant for overnight stay. Would probably be good for longer stays too as the swimming pool looked excellent"

"Brilliant location. Room had a mini bar and was spacious. If coming over from Uk/Ireland, don’t expect Tea/Coffee in the room, that not a done thing in most Spanish hotels. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t have been more accommodating "
"Fabulous place in a lovely location. We had a brilliant stay and the hotel could not do enough to help us. They allowed us to check out a couple of hours later as we had struggled to get transport back from Bilbao, they also made us packed lunch (for a small fee) on departure even though the restaurant was closed. Couldn't recommend enough"
After visiting Santa Maria Church, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Castro Urdiales. While you're in the area, stroll along the waterfront.
