"The hotel is advertised with aircon, I called to have that confirmed which it was. On arrival the aircon had been broken for over a week, the lady on the desk simply didn’t care obnoxious and ignorant. We had to buy fans for the room and it basically ruined our night"

"I was staying at this hotel for 5 days. The property was clean and outside was well maintained. However of all the hotels I’ve been to, I’ve never experienced NOT having a mini fridge or microwave. So for me who has small kids this definitely would not be ideal.(my kids were not on this trip) This was a huge inconvenience. There menu options in my opinion wasn’t the best and pricy. They don’t warm up outside food. So for that reason alone I wouldn’t come back to this location. Not all holiday...

"Really cosy, quaint room a stone's throw from the station, and surprisingly quiet despite the World Cup going on across the road. Even though I arrived and left outside staff hours, checking in and out was smooth thanks to clear instructions emailed in advance and the good, old-fashioned room keys instead of cards. They even provided a fan to survive the last of the heatwave. Highly recommend!"

"We had a lovely stay for one night. We used the pool and the gym looked well equipped."

"I stayed during a heatwave and the property had no AC making the room impossible to sleep in. The room was also infested with mosquitos and tiny bugs, in the morning had multiple bites across my skin and had an extremely uncomfortable night. The second night I decided to leave as it was pointless to try to sleep and just took the earlier coach home. Staff were very kind, however there was nothing they could do as the hotel is just not in good enough condition."

"Cheap room but conveniently located near Ilford Station. Codes needed for access to main door and hotel room. Rooms look dated and bare basics are there. It's in keeping with price, but if paying over £45-50, find a travelodge."

"The hotel was good but I was shocked by their policy of housekeeping. They only change bedsheets after a 3 night stay, which was puzzling for me because I was of the understanding that the bedsheets should be changed every day unless stated otherwise by the guest. Then there was a staff who even told me that even after the 3 night stay, I still had to put in a request for the room to be cleaned before 12pm, if that time is missed, then you wait 5 nights before the bedsheets can be changed. Mind...

"All was good! I read reviews after booking this hotel and was slightly worried, but I shouldn’t have been, check in was good, room was ok, clean beds and bathroom, carpet does need a clean, but besides that would use hotel again, close to shops and train station ☺️"
